Eric Angulo is one of Automation Plus’s Lead Engineers. He was recently selected to be inducted in the 2020 Control Engineering Engineers Leaders Under 40 class, which can be found in the September issue of Control Engineering and Plant Engineering magazine. This award recognizes manufacturing professionals under the age of 40 who are making a significant contribution to their customers success, and to the control engineering professions.
In addition to Control Systems Engineering, Eric has a background in Process Design and Packaging Engineering within pharmaceutical manufacturing. His experience ranges from designing full facilities controls systems to minor process changes to increase efficiency. With his Chemical Engineering background, he brings a process focused approach to control system design, programming, support, and project management allowing for a more complete solution.
Eric has proven success in many roles, showcasing his ability by effectively coordinating across multiple disciplines and platforms to exceed our customer’s needs. Eric has led numerous cross-functional project teams coordinating with vendors, corporate divisions, and customer team members. These projects have consisted of multiple PLC programming platforms for integrated and stand-alone manufacturing systems spanning many industries and countries. With his experience and the Plus group team behind him, Eric can provide global best practice solutions for our clients.
