Matthew Cifreo, Automation Plus Senior Engineer
Matthew is a proven leader with experience overseeing multiple activities within automation projects, including diverse engineering support functions. Focused on communication, Matthew actively engages internal and externally with Operations, Information Technology, Logistics, Engineering, Maintenance, and Management to drive project success.
Matthew has his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He has over 20 years of experience in the process controls industry with multiple DCS and PLC based control systems. He has project experience in many areas such as project management, system specification, design, configuration, start-ups, upgrades and troubleshooting for new and existing systems.
With a diverse background and wealth of hands-on experience, Matthew has held numerous positions throughout his career as an automation manager, automation engineer and as a project manager and lead. His experience includes team leadership, system design, software development, system documentation, operations training, validation support, commissioning, and start-up and post start-up support.
Originally from Baton Rouge but now living in Georgia, Matthew enjoys boating, wake surfing and hosting crawfish and seafood boils with friends and those around him.
