Two Process Plus Senior Electrical Engineers were recently voted officers within the Cincinnati Section of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). Adam Ward, our Electrical Engineering Best Practice Lead, is serving as section Vice Chair and Senior Electrical Engineer, Bob Schindler is the section Secretary. Officials are elected for a two year term.
IEEE is a worldwide organization. Their mission statement reads “IEEE’s core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity” (http://www.ieee.org). Over the next few years, IEEE will be hosting highly visible conferences and meetings here in Cincinnati including the IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting in October 2017, and the IEEE Petroleum and Chemical Industry Technical Conference (PCIC) in September 2018.
