Tim Howe, Electrical/I&C Department Manager, Chicago Office.Tim has over 30 years of experience in project management, electrical and instrumentation design engineering for industrial and commercial facilities. He has his BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
Tim possesses a broad range of project experience in both technical and managerial capacities as an electrical consulting engineer. He has experience in directing the operations for major projects from feasibility study through appropriation, detailed design, construction, commissioning and startup. Tim supervises all electrical power distribution, instrumentation and controls engineering activities. He has served both in a technical and managerial capacity for in-house engineering and design staff. He manages project man-hours, drawings and specification requirements; provides technical directives and assistance to the in-house staff; and tracks engineering, design and drafting efforts to completion.
Tim is experienced in the design of power distribution systems, controls and instrumentation. His experience includes producing initial project scope definition documents, engineering studies, cost estimates, equipment and construction specifications, bid analysis and complete installation package drawings and documentation.
Interesting Fact: Tim is an avid golfer. He also enjoys hiking with his wife Mary and their basset hound/white lab Mable, fishing, target shooting, games with the family, and woodworking.
